A little history and info about the PAV scooter trailer

These scooter trailers are made of sheet metal ca 1 mm thickness and was produced between 1959-1972 by AVIA np. and later KOVOZAVODY SEMILY in the Czech republic by the Jawa company so there are very few of them left.Many of these onewheeler have found there way over to the USA.They were frequently attached to jawa motorcycles,scooters and micro cars and now the are often attached to harley's and other newer motorcycles.in sweden they don´t need any registration like other trailers because they have just one wheel .Underneath the frame there is a id plate with manufacturing year,number and manufacturer,and some other info. There is no problem to hold 110 km/h or more!.

From 1959 to 1968 there were 2 st adjustable springs as shock absorbers against the sving(se picture below). from 1969 they are replaced with 2 st Rubber Cushion and in about the same time the added hinges to the lid, before there was loose lids. It´s fairly simple to rebuilt and add hinges to the old lids.
